What is ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management systems – Requirements?
ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It is internationally recognized as the world’s leading quality management standard and has been implemented by over one million organizations globally. Basically, organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services to meet requirements.

WHOLE SDMI TARGET TO GET CERTIFIED FOR ISO 9001:2015 THIS YEAR 2018!

As part of SDMI preparation for Third Party Audit, Internal Quality Audit (IQA) was conducted last January 30, 2018 to February 5, 2018. The result provide information whether the quality management system conforms to the requirements and effectively implemented and maintained.
Result:7-Nonconformances found which are now being addressed through the issuance of Corrective Action Request (CAR) being monitored by QA Section.
External Audit by Intertek Philippines:
Stage I Audit
Auditor will confirm if the management system conform to the requirements of the standard and achieve organization’s policy objectives. Audit team will evaluate the capability of the management system to manage compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. At the end of this audit, confirmation will be received for proceeding with the Stage II audit. A pre-determined amount of time will be given if nonconformities will be found.

Stage II Audit
Assessment team supervised by Lead Auditor will review the management system. The objective is to confirm that the management system conforms with all the requirements of the standard and that the organization has effectively implemented the system so it can achieve the organization’s policy objectives. Once compliance will be found, Certification will be issued. This will appear in the Intertek Directory of Certified companies and in other industry directories

Follow-up Evaluations
Regular annual surveillance visits followed by triennial re-assessments to ensure ongoing conformity.
